Updates on the SRIW ecosystem and the latest self- and co-regulatory developments in the information economy - with a keen focus on data and consumer protection.

SRIW’s Recent Happenings

Dear Readers,

the prospects of the next month keep us on our feet! We are more than excited to organise a workshop at the fiberdays in Germany, Frankfurt am Main. On next week’s wednesday, we will already introduce you to the realms of the Door-to-Door-Sales Code of Conduct. Make sure to drop by!

Nevertheless we want to take the moment and dive into two different comments we published last moth. One, on the discussion draft of the German’s Act against Digital Violence.

Our other comment is dedicated to the EDPB’s guideline on pseudonymisation. SRIW welcomes the EDPB Guidelines 01/2025 on Pseudonymisation as an important step toward reinforcing pseudonymisation as a key safeguard under the GDPR.

Wishing you a good read,

SRIW
