The EU is rapidly moving forward with its strategy for data, which, among others, comprises the Data Act. Aiming to boost innovation, the proposal seeks to facilitate fair access to data and ultimately increase industry-wide usage. The materialization of this framework increases regulatory complexity, which requires service providers to grasp the upcoming provisions at an early stage.
Against this background, this panel seeks to highlight the potential impacts of the Data Act across the German Cloud industry. Given the amount of regulatory developments currently on the pipeline, panellists will analyse the interplay between the GDPR and the Data Act, giving insights on how to build robust and comprehensive compliance programs.
In this context, the panel will also explore how co-regulatory tools have been supporting GDPR compliance in the German Cloud environment. Furthermore, the audience shall learn how this experience can be leveraged to optimize the implementation of the Data Act.
Don’t miss out and register until the 6th of September.
