About the project
The Privacy Code of Conduct on mobile health apps has been developed under the European Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
The drafting was encouraged by the European Commission and initiated after the publication of the European Commission's 2014 mHealth Green Paper consultation.
Engagement of SCOPE Europe
Stakeholders being involved in the drafting of the code, including SCOPE Europe, are currently gathering interested parties to further align the latest draft to the requirements under GDPR being encouraged by the European Commission, still.
