PŸUR renews adherence to the Door-to-Door Code of Conduct

SCOPE EuropeNews

PŸUR has successfully completed another assessment of adherence under the Door-to-Door Code of Conduct, demonstrating its continued commitment to transparency and consumer protection in direct telecommunications sales. SCOPE Europe, acting as the Code's independent monitoring body, carried out the compliance verification.

The assessment examines not only formal requirements, but also how consumer-oriented sales standards are implemented in practice within the company and reviewed on an ongoing basis. This includes, in particular, clear rules for direct customer contact, regular training for sales representatives, internal control mechanisms, and procedures for evaluating consumer feedback and complaints and incorporating them into the further development of internal processes.

In door-to-door sales, it is essential that on-site sales are not considered in isolation but is embedded within appropriate organizational structures. The renewed confirmation of adherence demonstrates that PŸUR has established the necessary processes and continues to develop them with a view to ensuring consistently high standards of quality.  This strengthens consumer trust and supports responsible practices in the long term.

Commenting on the successful assessment, Robert Berlin, Director Sales Operations at PŸUR, said:

We do not regard the compliance assessment as a snapshot, but as part of an ongoing improvement process. The requirements of the Door-to-Door Code of Conduct help us to continuously develop our internal procedures and ensure transparent and responsible customer advice.

Gabriela Mercuri, Managing Director of SCOPE Europe, added:

Effective self-regulation depends on continuous implementation and regular review. The Door-to-Door Code of Conduct provides a structured framework that supports companies in maintaining high-quality standards over the long term and in sustainably strengthening consumer trust.

The renewed adherence is valid for a further year and has been published in SCOPE Europe’s Public Register.
