Allergy and asthma treatments - how GDPR affects future developments

SCOPE EuropemHealthNews

SCOPE Europe has been invited to give insights on the implications of GDPR on future developments in the field of allergy and asthma treatmens. A dedicated focus will be potential solutions thereof that originate from GPDR.

Mobile medical treatments and therapies are emerging worldwide. Besides any other applicable regulatory framework data protection related issues should be kept in mind from the very beginning. Deputy Managing Director Frank Ingenrieth participates at the European Strategic Forum on Allergic Diseases in Zurich, November 17th, and will present and discuss obstacles and potential solutions related to data protection.

Under the umbrella of the European Commission there have been industry driven efforts taken in drafting the so-called mHealth Code of Conduct, already. Nonetheless, needs of the markets are evolving and even shifting to eHealth. If and to what extent this comes with additional requirements under GDPR and how such requirements and their possible vagueness can be addressed will be subject to this presentation and discussion in Zurich.
